  • Explore available open-source tools and graphical interfaces for creating, visualizing and maintaining the feature model and decision-engine.
  • Prepare clear documentation explaining assumptions, sources, modelling choices, limitations and proposed next steps for expansion beyond the initial prototype.

Expected outcome:

  • A proof-of-concept feature model and decision-support prototype.
  • Documentation summarizing the methodology, findings, lessons learned and possible next steps for further development.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (Bachelor degree minimum) in Business Administration, Finance, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Public Policy or similar discipline. Candidate may be enrolled in the final yar of a master’s degree.
  • Strong abstract reasoning and ability to structure complex concepts into reusable components.
  • Ability to work with documentation-heavy topics and extract clear, practical requirements.
  • Technical curiosity; knowledge of Python, SQL, UVL, DMN, Drools, Java, XML/YAML/JSON or open-source modelling tools would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other Microsoft application tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Good command of another EU language would be an advantage.

Competencies:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Quality focus and high level of accuracy in data analysis.
  • Strong sense of ethics with the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
