Internship Opportunity – Research, Events & Training Support

Location: On-site in Madrid, Spain

Start Date: September for 6-12 months

Type: Full-time Internship

Compensation: Paid internship

Languages Required: Spanish and English

Key Responsibilities

Research Support

Assist with research projects related to:

  • Leadership and representation
  • Corporate governance
  • Workplace equality
  • Access to board and executive positions
  • Diversity and organizational performance

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research using academic and professional sources
  • Supporting report writing, data collection, and analysis
  • Preparing summaries, presentations, and research materials

Events & Institutional Activities

Support the preparation and coordination of:

  • Roundtables
  • Conferences
  • Workshops
  • Networking events

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with agendas, invitations, and speaker coordination
  • Preparing event materials and attendance lists
  • Supporting post-event reporting and follow-up activities

Training Programs & Workshops

  • Assist with leadership and governance training programs
  • Support presentation preparation and learning materials
  • Coordinate sessions and participant follow-up
  • Contribute to workshop content development

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is:

  • Organized, proactive, and reliable
  • Interested in leadership, governance, business, diversity, and social impact
  • Comfortable working in a professional and collaborative environment
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Ability to work with reports, academic sources, and data
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of AI tools, Canva, PowerPoint, or basic data analysis is considered an advantage
