This internship gives you the chance to explore many different areas of marketing communications in one role. This will help you discover what you enjoy most, where your strengths are and in which direction you would like to develop further. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of some projects yourself, while developing your stakeholder management skills in a dynamic international organization that is part of the PostNL group.

As part of the Communication team, you will support a wide range of activities across internal and external communications. From PR and social media to content creation, events and product communications, you will help bring Spring GDS’ stories, updates and services to life for different audiences.

You will:

• Support European PR activities, including preparing press materials, coordinating input from local markets and agencies, monitoring media opportunities and helping strengthen Spring GDS’ visibility across key European markets.
• Create content for different channels and audiences, such as blogs, newsletters, case studies, website copy and campaign materials, always with a focus on clear storytelling and Spring GDS’ tone of voice.
• Support social media management for Spring GDS’ corporate channels, including drafting LinkedIn posts, planning content, supporting community management and helping report on performance and learnings.
• Support product and service communications by helping create updates, launches and improvements into clear, customer-focused messaging for internal and external channels.
• Support events and trade shows by helping prepare communication materials, social media content, briefings and follow-up activities that connect our event presence with wider marketing and communications goals.
• Assist with internal communications by helping create clear and engaging updates for employees, including announcements and newsletters that support employee engagement across our international teams.

• A monthly internship allowance of € 500 gross, based on a 39,25 hour workweek (is fulltime)

Preferred Fields of Study: Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Corporate Communications, International Communication

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• Strong interest in international marketing, B2B marketing and/or communications
• Eligible for a Dutch internship agreement (stageovereenkomst)
• Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)

Desired Skills:

• Excellent English writing skills
• Strong storytelling abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with AI and content creation tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Canva, etc.)
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Comfortable working in an international environment
