HR Information Systems Internship

Sony is looking for a student or recent graduate interested in technology and innovation to join its HR Information Systems team in Barcelona for six months, with the possibility of extending for another six months.
The intern joins the Technology Architecture, Sustainability and Development Frameworks team within the Global HR Platform. The team provides HR innovation opportunities and HRIS advisory across the organisation, implements solutions, and establishes or transfers business-as-usual capabilities.
The intern will learn how Workday products and related systems are configured, maintained and enhanced, as well as how internal processes and governance operate. After onboarding, the intern works with project teams and gets hands-on exposure to creating and testing system features.
Responsibilities include assisting consultants with business requirements and innovative solutions; supporting system-related business processes; designing, implementing and testing system changes; understanding and configuring security and access frameworks; investigating issues; supporting system improvements, upgrades and releases; handling basic HR community cases and questions; performing mass data uploads; attending architecture and design sessions; supporting Workday Extend projects involving JavaScript and APIs; regression testing; system configuration; report and dashboard creation; integrations with other systems; access management; and automation and AI initiatives within HR technology.
Candidates should be studying for an engineering degree, have advanced English and good communication skills, and be enrolled at a university or business school so a learning agreement can be signed.
