Banking & Finance

The Role:

We're looking for a sharp, driven and analytical Finance Intern to join our founding team for a 3–6 month internship. You will work directly with the CFO and play a key role in developing the financial systems, models and insights that drive our business forward. This is a hands-on internship at the core of a fast-growing infrastructure company -not a coffee-fetching role, but a real seat at the table.

What You'll Do:

  • Support financial reporting, forecasting and strategic planning
  • Maintain and improve financial models, including cost structures, P&L, CapEx and cash flow
  • Prepare investor materials and support equity and debt fundraising processes
  • Develop internal tools and processes for finance and operations
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and business model development
  • Collaborate across teams to support decision-making with financial insights

What We're Looking for:

  • High sense of ownership - you like building from the ground up
  • Sharp analytical mindset and a structured, detail-oriented working style
  • Curiosity for how infrastructure, energy and finance intersect
  • Highly reliable, hands-on, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field - or recently graduated

Bonus Points:

  • Prior internship experience in finance, consulting, VC, or an early-stage startup
  • Experience working on side projects, student initiatives, or anything entrepreneurial
  • Passion for climate tech, energy systems or the economics of infrastructure

Why Join us:

  • Real work from day one: This isn't a shadow internship. You'll contribute directly to financial strategy, investor communications, and fundraising.
  • Hard, meaningful problems: We're operating at the intersection of deep tech, AI, and energy. Expect complex challenges and the freedom to work on them creatively.
  • Visibility & exposure: You'll work closely with the founders and CFO and get real insight into how a VC-backed tech company operates - funding, scaling, infrastructure, capital markets, and more.
  • Growth: Take away skills and experience that most peers won't get until years into their careers.
  • Everything else: Competitive internship compensation, flexible location (Berlin, Munich or remote), and a driven, open-minded team.

Lyceum is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and interns.
